Based in Manhattan Beach, California, Brett Loubert leads Deloitte’s Federal Practice in the greater Los Angeles area, with a focus on the LA AFB’s Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC). He brings almost 20 years of experience spanning space, systems engineering, IT, communications, finance/acquisition, and large-scale system architecture development. He has led strategic transformation and innovation initiatives from strategy through implementation for multiple Cabinet-level departments, specializing within the Department of Defense.
Brett started his career performing a wide range of engineering tasks for several space-related programs, including National Missile Defense, Intelligence, and MILSATCOM. Upon completing his MBA, he transitioned to consulting, focusing on large-scale enterprise transformation and IT modernization efforts. Brett has worked with government leaders in the defense, national security, and civilian sectors to integrate mission and business technology with private sector innovation for rapidly changing operating environments. His experience spans the entire modernization lifecycle, including strategy, enterprise and system architecture, and software development and implementation.
Brett holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, and a Master of Business Administration degree in Strategy and Operations from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business.
