Space Frontier Foundation Opens Registration for NewSpace Conference 2017

SILICON VALLEY, Calif., Feb. 27, 2017 – The Space Frontier Foundation has now opened registration for its 2017 NewSpace Conference, to be held June 27-29 at the Park Central Hotel in San Francisco, California.

Themed “Convergence”, NewSpace 2017 will highlight the cross-disciplinary collaboration critical to creating a sustainable space economy, which in turn fuels innovation in important fields, from healthcare to construction. Through engaging conference sessions and unique networking opportunities, conference participants will have the opportunity to discover the people, technology and ideas shaping and leading the industry, and connect with industry thought-leaders, potential partners and investors.

“This conference is the philosophical home of what we have come to call the NewSpace Industry,” said Jeff Feige, chairmen of the board for Space Frontier Foundation. “It’s where ideas that are changing the world come from.”

Early bird rates are now available through March 31, 2017.

About the NewSpace Conference

new ● space \nöö – späs\ noun: a movement and philosophy often affiliated with the emergent private spaceflight industry. Organized by the Space Frontier Foundation since 2006, the annual NewSpace conference is the only event that brings a unique mix of revolutionary space entrepreneurs, investors, scientists, engineers, regulators and space policy leaders together to explore the opportunities and challenges of opening the space frontier to human settlement. Facilitating the necessary cross-disciplinary collaboration is how the private space industry will grow and create a sustainable space economy, which in turn fuels innovation in important fields, from healthcare to construction.
